Boathouse
CANOE CLUB

Common ownership of our lovely custom designed boathouse is granted to each homeowner upon purchase of a home.  Also included is common ownership of our waterfront recreaton lot, shown on our subdivision plan as Lot B.  Homeowners are further granted an easement for use of our private walking trails that connect with those of the 20 acre Canoe Club Preserve, adjacent to the subdivision; also an easement for use of Indian Camp Island.

Most homeowners will enter the trails from the common recreation lot, but some will have direct access from their back yards.  The island might be a nice spot for a picnic or even an overnight camp.  We hope to someday connect these trails with the miles of paths already established in the Herring Brook Valley.  Of course, rights to use the dock and pier are also included. Check the details elsewhere on this site.

The boathouse is 20' by 48' with indoor storage for about 35 canoes and kayaks.  There will be a small relaxation area and a wood stove to dry off in case you get caught in the rain.  There will be a small library upstairs with a deck, but this area won't be available for common use until the sales are completed.  Until then it will be our sales office.  We are very excited about our boathouse, and hope you will be also.
