CANOE CLUB homes will be individually designed to suit the tastes and desires of each homeowner.  We are encouraging a relaxed architectual style that fits in with the natural setting of towering trees, marshes, and the North River.  While the style of each home is the choice of the owner, we hope to encourage a luxurious, but country style sometimes seen in lake, river or hillside resorts.  The home sketches here can be adapted to your needs, homesite choice, and your budget.

To protect the value of all our homes, we will establish protective covenants that will require, among other things: 3 car garages, minimum home size of 3600 sq ft, landscape plans; and will regulate roof shingles, pitch and overhangs, outside lighting, minimum house setbacks, tree removal, etc., however exceptions may be made as the situation requires.

This beautiful riverfront home has been recently completed.

   This home is being designed and constructed on Lot 10.  We hope to start construction in July.    The rear of the house will have lots of windows to bring in the bright southern sun, the river  and the Herring Brook Valley views.  The walkout basement will have lots of light as well, and have convenient access to the nature areas, trails, and optional private dock.
